The Laurence Classic Golf event for cancer research

David Laurence once again held his annual golf charity tournament last month at the prestigious Whittlebury Hall Golf & Spa Resort. The golfing event, which saw a mix of Signature employees , suppliers and friends take to the course ready to swing , putt, and chip for cancer research, raising over £1,000 .

The golf tournament is the most recent in a string of Signature driven sporting events, coming just weeks after Signature Flatbreads’ Dan Ashley and Ben Tye unofficially broke the Guinness World Record for the longest ever consecutive game of football, raising over £20K in funds for Tommy’s Charity.

David Laurence, Joint Managing Director at Signature Flatbreads, says: “We are thrilled with the results from this year’s annual golf day, not only for good and bad displayed on the golf course , but for the generous amount of money raised for cancer research. It is important for both our staff , suppliers and friends give back to society, so it was great to see them come together to support a worthy cause.”
